Good buy with happy results :) Finally, I have found a good and high quality dry cat food that doesnt bother my kitties sensitive stomach's. With other high quality dry cat food brands, they either upset my kitties stomach's causing them to vomit or made their belly's feel hard and bloated-like, and their poop would really smell. But this food has not bothered my kitties belly's, their belly's feel soft and at ease, no more stinky poop, and their fur looks and feels much healthier and softer. I couldnt be happier with this food, I highly recommend to try especially if your cats have sensitive belly's causing stinky poop and hard belly's.

Wonderful for overweight felines

I had a 20 pound kitty, and thanks to this awesome food, he has lost 4 pounds and is looking good. I told my vet i had him on this food and she approved. I have

I had a 20 pound kitty, and thanks to this awesome food, he has lost 4 pounds and is looking good. I told my vet i had him on this food and she approved. I have 4 other cats, and they ranged from 10 to 14 pounds, and now they are about 10 pounds each. They like this food, and i recommend it. Thank you Chewy for providing this dry food. It can be hard to find in some pet stores, but no more worries! I love that it is delivered to my front door, and within 2 days of placing an order, its here! Cannot beat the service Chewy provides.

Dust like bottom of the cereal bag?

I switched to chicken soup beginning of March for my 5 kitties. They're all over 13 years old except for one and because of the good reviews i went with this one

I switched to chicken soup beginning of March for my 5 kitties. They're all over 13 years old except for one and because of the good reviews i went with this one. End of the first bag i started noticing an excessive amount of "food dust". I figured it was just because it was the end of the bag so i went ahead with it again. This photo attached is a new bag. The dishes are filthy with this dust and the cats...while they were eating it, have decided this is no good. My 17 year old was screaming by the bowl for days and when i gave him a different dry food he ate the entire thing like he was starving and now he's sleeping peacefully. Unfortunately I'm switching again, maybe someone else will have better luck and not this bowl of dust.

Really helps manage her fatness. The cat is SO fat! Look at the before an after picture! The cat on the left is the before cat who is super fat. The cat on the right is the after cat who is not as super fat.

Surprisingly good food.

I've worked in pet retail for a few years now, but only encountered the Chicken Soup for the Soul branded products within the past year or so. I was very surprised

I've worked in pet retail for a few years now, but only encountered the Chicken Soup for the Soul branded products within the past year or so. I was very surprised when I saw it, as I wouldn't have expected it since those books haven't seemed relevant since what, the early 2000's? I completely wrote them off and continued feeding my cats Fat Cats from NB. We had a regular guest who special ordered this food for his group of cats, and I got curious why this specific brand instead of one of the big names? After digging a little, I realized why: the pricing is actually really decent for a quality food. I like that the ingredient panels are basically just meats, produce, and supplements, and that the caloric content of this type (senior/weight care) was very close to fat cats. The size of the kibbles are a lot smaller which seems to help my cats digest better and not throw up as much as they were (which was 3-4 times a week previously and is now 2-3 times a month). Poops are good, they seem to like it just fine, and I'm happy with it. If you're considering it, give chicken soup a shot.

In my area it's very difficult to find a good feed shop that is willing to special order my cat's food. We feed her a particular diet, so I'm very careful to order her food with enough time to arrive as she is close to running out. When the local Champion's "forgot" to order the food I'd put in for three weeks earlier, I panicked. We were nearly out of the Chicken Soup feed and I needed to find someplace--anyplace--that could get me the feed fast without being too expensive. Stumbling across Chewy.com was a hidden blessing. I can order my cat's special food AND the treats that I can't find in my local stores--for a crazy low rate considering the food got here in two days! From now on, I'm sticking with you guys. The product got here in one piece, super fast, and cheaper than I'd have spent anywhere else. I'll definitely continue to shop here for my cat's food and browse for her other needs.

My cat was got so fat she could barely breathe

My adorable female cat has always been plump, but she became morbidly obese while I was in the hospital for a week and she (and my male cat) lived on just dry food

My adorable female cat has always been plump, but she became morbidly obese while I was in the hospital for a week and she (and my male cat) lived on just dry food. Now both cats are eating this along with sharing one can of lower calorie wet food each day. She has slimmed down and I am no longer concerned about her breathing. Meanwhile, the male has maintained his weight, yet his coat is thicker and shinier. Both love chicken and chicken is the first ingredient listed on the label. Even so, they don't love this food, but they are figuring out Mom is not going to buy them anything else. They eat it.

Not My Favorite but Cats Like

Ingredient wise this isn't my favorite choice of food for my cats but I had 3 of 6 cats that were gaining to much weight on some of the higher quality grain free

Ingredient wise this isn't my favorite choice of food for my cats but I had 3 of 6 cats that were gaining to much weight on some of the higher quality grain free foods I'd been purchasing for them. As with people being overweight isn't healthy for them so I searched and searched to find a food with lower calories and carb content. I finally decided to try Chicken Soup for the Soul and all 6 cats like it. No vomiting, no diarrhea and the ones that were getting a little pudgy are slimming down. As an owner I wish the animal protein level was a little higher in this food but it seems to be working. I will monitor them closely for any signs of excessive shedding, dull coats or anything that would indicate this food could be causing a health issue.

I actually totally forgot about this food brand because a lot of place don't sell it for some weird reason. I worked at a pet store 10 years ago and thats where I discovered it. I feed the wet and dry to both my dog and cat they both loved it and did really well on this food back then. I just changed my current cats to the dry and wet food of the same formula. They love both! This is the first wet cat food that they will actually eat every day and eat it all. Its also very good for them. Since they have been eating this they seem more energetic, happy and my one cat that had a hairball problem hasn't had one since she started this food. Oh and their coats are extremely soft and shiny. I'm glad I remembered this brand and chewy had it. I highly recommend! Its definitely a underrated brand i wish more people knew about it.

My cat is getting on the old side. He lives mainly out side. He is a bit overweight. So I tried the lite version of campbells soup cat foods. He has always rejected all the light foods. Or the foods for mature cats but he loves this food. I no longer have trouble getting him to eat his own food. I like the fact that there are no dyes in it. And the size of the kibble is perfect for him. For a 12 and a half year old cat that spends most of his time outside he is a lot more sprite now. You would think he was a kitten the way he is behaving. I just want to thank you for making such a wonderful product.
