My cat does seem to enjoy this food. He was adopted from a shelter after being picked up from the street when he was a tiny kitten and he grew up eating a variety of different foods basically whatever the shelter was given so he’s not a picky eater so I can’t say whether a picky cat would love this or not. I just know my guy thinks it’s just fine. Kibble is a nice size and shape, And my cat bowl is completely empty when he’s done no crumbs or broken pieces. I liked that the bag closes with the Velcro type closure helps keep things fresher. I think the only thing that I don’t care for is it seems that this food has slightly higher carbs and fat, then some other food so if this is a concern based on your cats health, you may want to do some investigation on how these numbers would affect your cat. If you have a healthy cat, that probably wouldn’t be a problem but again, just something to be aware of.

My cats love the taste and I love that it's grain free, has omega fatty acids, and real chicken is the first ingredient. My cats even prefer it over their cat treats. It's a little more expensive than your run of the mill dry cat foods but no more expensive than other high quality cat foods. It's high quality ingredients that taste good at a reasonable price point. I will definitely be buying this again when we run out.

None of the cats were fans and it has a best before date of April and I just ordered it the end of January. Makes me think it's not fresh and has been sitting around for awhile. Dry food has always had a long best before date on all other brands that I have purchased. Never had any near the best buy date before.

I have two 6 year old cats. One is small and does not have any teeth due to a previous gum dx. The morsels are small and he can eat them without a problem and he likes the food. My other cat is larger and has no known problems and liked the food also. But he started throwing it up right after he ate it, a few weeks after we got the food. I tried giving him less thinking he ate too much at one time but that did not seem to help. So I just switched to another dry food and so far he is ok. IF this problem starts again I will take him to the vet. The original recipe of the Chicken Soup for the Soul dry food (chicken flavored)a few years ago worked very well for both cats and there were no problems back then. I am sorry they changed it.
