When I had the opportunity to choose one of these products, there was a multitude of flavors and varieties available. My German Shepherd has a handful of different treats from various brands but they’re all chicken or beef flavored. I told my wife “I wonder if he will like the salmon treats“? I figured that I would give it a shot and see what he does; As soon as the item was delivered and I was opening the box, he was actually trying to stick his nose inside the box before I even had the tape off. I opened up the seal and let him smell inside and he immediately sat down and started giving me his paw. (lol) That’s what he does when he knows he’s getting a treat. I have him (3) of the treats out of the palm of my hand and he inhaled them. I legitimately think they were gone in about 2.5 seconds. In any event, we love to get him American made treats with minimal ingredients and we try to keep the treats and food that we give him as “all natural” as possible. He’s older now so he has the notorious GSD ‘stomach sensitivity’ issues but these were no problem for him to digest. Every time I get to the pantry (where we keep his snacks and treats) he’s hot on my heels begging for one of these. You have to give them a try, your dog will love you for them!

I never judge a treat by my very picky standard poodle. As a service dog with extensive training, he's used to and expects only the most high value treats - anything

I never judge a treat by my very picky standard poodle. As a service dog with extensive training, he's used to and expects only the most high value treats - anything else may as well be dog food and is wasting his time. We have tried all current varieties of American Journey Biscuits now and the only one the poodle not only eats but is excited about is the peanut butter. Everyone else, however, (a pitbull and 2 chinese cresteds - formerly 3 cresteds)all think these things are prime time, top notch snacks! We'll keep the 8oz bag on our treat rotation for everyone else (it's nice to have most of my dogs easy to please and happy over affordable, healthy treats. "Mr Freeze dried meat please" is high maintenance!)

I wrote a review on these & from my error it was out in his other favorite treat brand from Blue Buffalo so you can see it there under my same name , I only feed him natural treats , use to be on Blue Buffalo until I found these in Salmon , too funny a big German Shepherd favorite flavor in his regularly daily treats are Salmon ! What an odor when your driving to the park & have some in your pocket or fanny pack even in a baggy , you can tell their natural ! Please refer to the feedback that I left accidentally on his Blue Buffalo treats under my nickname ... these photos were took in our home we moved out of right during the move so excuse the boxes & mess . You will see in other feedback how wonderful these treats are & Chewy !!

Love that chewy came out with this American Journey line! Also love how I was able to get a buy one get one free deal! I ordered two salmon flavor oven baked treats

Love that chewy came out with this American Journey line! Also love how I was able to get a buy one get one free deal! I ordered two salmon flavor oven baked treats. The ingredients are pretty good compared to other higher price unhealthy treats. I like to add 1 to 2 of these treats to my dogs food sometimes just as an added supplement. I also use these for a high value treat for training!
