My ears peak as I hear the crinkle of the package. With excitement building, I look to my human to quickly open that case which makes this sound, of which I’ve learned will bring me a crunchy satisfaction. Even as years of disappointment has taught me the bitter taste of mediocrity, my soul cannot help to rise with joy like a child’s balloon that’s broken free of the wrist it’s been tethered to. The human hand lowers itself as I salivate with anticipation. I get a waft of something edible. Notes of peanuts- something that will never be turned away! My soul and my tummy is fulfilled until the next meal which can’t come soon enough. Also, try the salmon recipe.

So Victor and Vicki are finicky move around any kind of wrapper, even the cat treats and they show off their speed by going from sleeping to 10 mph to the kitchen

So Victor and Vicki are finicky move around any kind of wrapper, even the cat treats and they show off their speed by going from sleeping to 10 mph to the kitchen. So when I opened these up no surprise that they where there. Well they where so enthusiastic and now even beg for these treats. Well done. Rousing greyhounds from a sound slumber isn't easy but these do the trick....results may vary from pup to pup.

My dogs tend to prefer soft baked treats or jerky/meat treats, so an oven baked harder treat was always going to be a tough sell with both of them. My dog who is obsessed with peanut butter and peanut butter flavored treats, was really not into these. She would put it down and then look to me for a second option and then pick it back up and eat it eventually. My other dog (who will eat anything) would take this but if offered another type of treat at the same time, would opt for the other treat over this one.

Dog basset/beagle I guess could smell the difference and spit out the burnt product. There was still plenty in the bag so I do not want credit or replacement. I got the bag in April and just getting around to informing Chewy.

Our dogs love this treat, from the 5 lb. chihuahua mix through the 110 lb. Bernese Mountain Dog. The treats smell deliciously of peanut butter and while I haven't tried one yet, it isn't outside the realm of possibility. They are grain free which is a big deal for us as one of our fur babies has severe grain allergies. The treats are small enough to be used as a reward for good behavior and large enough to be a "treat". I'll be buying these on a regular basis. They are well worth trying and good enough to pass on to others if your dog doesn't care for them.

My fussy pack like these. The ones who have smaller mouths, I will break this in 1/2. When a rescue first gets here, they want to eat everything then in a few days they get picky. They either love Peanut Butter or will not take one of the cookies. So glad Chewy has so many flavors. They all love the Salmon. The adults easily can fit a whole cookie in their mouths. But I do have 3 small sized standards whose mouths are smaller so they "wait" for me to break these for them. Quality product. Hope they don't change.

She doesn't move very quickly but once this treat bag is opened, she comes running! Although my pup only eats soft food now due to her age, these treats are gentle on her mouth and tummy. Great value too! As a veteran, I love that these are made in the USA. Dakota says "Thanks Chewy!" :)
