Chewy Made Roasted Marrow Bone 3" Dog Treat (FORMERLY BONES & CHEWS), 1 count

Most all pieces are full of marrow with lots of extra to nib-nib-nib off the bone, our dog starts drooling as soon as he hears us pick up the zip-lock bag (they're stored in). We store in a bag (kept in our pantry) as they are oily and said oil does leak from the plastic wrap. Personally - I really wish the bones wouldn't just be tossed loose into a box with other items. In the past, they've bounced around and cut open giant bags of dog food (see photo) and they also leave an oily residue inside the box and whatever else is inside with it.

I order the baked marrow bones 3” in groups of several dozen twice each month. The last order was almost entirely huge shoulder and joint bones that were wider than they were long. These bones all hard thin sharp edges that were easily splintered by even my small dog and had to be thrown away at significant expense. If this poor quality is repeated I will cancel my account and turn to brick and mortar for my pet needs where I can control the quality of my purchases

The best thing about these bones is then have NEVER splintered, & my doggo is an extremely aggressive chewer. The most recent cpl of shipments have had a bunch of bones with closed ends, so no access to the marrow, he gets bored with those very quickly. On the other hand, they are a good treat for him & knowing they won’t crack & hurt him makes that a big win in my book!

As long as my dog as a bone to chew, she didn't chew my stuff! It's hard to find her the right bones because she has Epilpsey and a lot of triggers. For example, a lot of bones have been bleached, but the packaging doesn't have to tell you that, so as the dog eats the bone he or she is all digesting bleach. "Other natural ingredients" can refer to a range of things that might be bad for your dog. Chewy.com customer service helped me with a lot of this info. Now we have a bone that doesn't trigger seizures, and I can keep my shoes! If you are familiar with Kong products and their color coded chewing guide, she can tear apart a black one in minutes. She spent the day chewing this one bone, so for her that's a really long time.
