It is rare to find a treat that both of my dogs love, but these beef esophagi are a huge hit! I have a large German Shepherd and a tiny Yorkie, and these treats work perfectly for both. Here is why we love them: Unlike rawhide, these are generally easier on the stomach. Natural alternative to rawhide, they are single-ingredient chews made from beef. They have a natural scent that the dogs adore, but it isn't overpowering for the humans in the room. Our dogs "go absolutely crazy" as soon as the bag opens. Highly recommend for multi-dog households!

The package just arrived today and I got about 40 sticks in my 1 lb bag. There is barely any odor and the texture of the treat is hard but hollow. As the dog chews

The package just arrived today and I got about 40 sticks in my 1 lb bag. There is barely any odor and the texture of the treat is hard but hollow. As the dog chews on the treat it becomes stringy/bristley (which I think is great for teeth) this is a fast treat but I have a treat holder so it’s not a problem for me. My dog loves beef trachea so I thought she would love these, but she wasn’t too interested at first. She really enjoyed the chewing though! Hopefully she warms up to it because these treats work perfectly for the west paw qwizl (small) toy.

Drastic size differences

Half of these are 2/2.5” and I cannot give to my 65# dog, and my foster has no teeth so they will be donated to other small dogs at the shelter who have teeth

I think it's good to understand these are mostly for puppies. Adults like them too but they can chew them.. rapidly. When I say puppy..I mean a puppy who hasn't

I think it's good to understand these are mostly for puppies. Adults like them too but they can chew them.. rapidly. When I say puppy..I mean a puppy who hasn't lost their baby teeth yet and is actively teething. Under 6 months old. They're great to keep them entertained while crate training, car rides to the vet or just keeping them happy while teething! Don't expect these to last very long your adult dog. Like less then a minute or two. These are also great for dog breeders to add to their puppy packs when sending home their 8 wk old teething puppies! I make sure to add then everytime!

One thing that I would have preferred is if the gullet was open/hollow instead of closed. I like to fill the chew with treats sometimes, but I cannot do it with these.

They are also don't last too long, which keeps him from fighting over it with his cousin. I think the price is a good value and I will be buying more of these when they run out.
