Generally speaking, UTI's are often times diagnosed because of bacteria in urine. Does this test detect bacteria or just PH?
What do the numbers mean? They range from 5.0-8.0. Are they the pH?

How do you collect a sample?

A sample can be obtained by placing a container in your pets urine stream until enough is collected to submerge the end of the strip.
Will these strips give you an actual pH reading?

These strips will show a color change, which can be matched to the results card. The results card is located inside the box. Detach this before conducting the test for easy reading and color comparison. The colors on the test strip continuously change, so reading the results at the times designated on the results card is of the utmost importance. Please see image below for reference.
