Certainly a different look than your standard doggie dinner! While I think this could be perfect for a full meal for dogs, with a dog as big as mine I knew this would be better suited just to work as a food topper - and it certainly added a very tasty treat for my pet! All of the ingredients are easily recognizable and real foods and you can see that in the meal mix! It has a resemblance to chicken salad, with that same sort of consistency, making it easy to scoop right on top of a dinner. I just wish the bag was a little more accessible to do so, given you're more likely to get the food over your hand as you try to dig into the bag. Overall, a perfect food topper for my pup to keep him interested in his normal kibble!

Very fresh and my schnauzer loves it! I mixed the chicken recipe with her kibbles (half and half) and she wolfs it up. It does not have to be refrigerated until opened, and the bag reseals tightly. She definitely looks forward to meals and we are no longer struggling to get her to eat.

It's Not The Food's Fault My Pup Is Picky!

In my life I've had the loving pleasure of having 4 wonderful and forever in my heart dogs. I have a new addition to my family and he's an English Cocker Spaniel. He's a cute little bugger. BUT- he is, without a doubt, the pickiest eater from ANY DOG I'VE EVER OWNED OR MET! For some reason Winston would NOT TOUCH THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT. He eats the little Wholesome Bowls. He even eats the Cesar Toppers. But it drove me to the point of no return that he would Not touch this Cesar product. So, I'm giving it an average rating simply because my furry prince is extremely picky. I'm sure that plenty of people feed this to their dogs and they love it.

The first thing I noticed was the vegetables among the chicken. The Ingredients list starts: chicken, water, carrots, barley, green beans, and that's real food, not homogenized, dried byproducts. Jazz loved it and would be happy to eat it every meal. Because we don't like to change her diet suddenly I started by giving it to her as an addition to her usual food at dinner, but my husband got dirty looks from her for not giving her any at breakfast! Her vote is a clear four paws up.
