This is a review of the Caesar filets food, but I have to mention that recently our English Bulldog (Bella) had not been doing well. At almost 12 years old, she's outlived most of her breed. As is typical with Bulldogs (and short nose breeds), she started to have more trouble lately breathing. She couldn't eat the Blue Buffalo food (even wet) our other dogs and her usually eat. The Caesar filets in sauce helped her eat, and gave her the opportunity to take the medicine to help her feel better. I know this isn't as much a review focused on the food, but this particular food was exactly what she needed and was able to eat. Nothing else was helping (my husband had to hand feed her the last few days), but the filets in sauce was easy for her to eat & digest. Unfortunately, she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today, and as hard as it is to take, our other 2 dogs who shared some of the new, tasty Caesar filets, were able to eat their usual dry food with some of this wet food in strips mixed in. Thank you to Chewy.com for making it so easy to get whatever we need and easy to change and adjust to our pets' needs. The many options were great in helping us find what Bella could enjoy for awhile & keeping our other fur babies taken care of. Tough day, but this particular food was key to getting our girl as good as she good be.

Rusty Loves It!

Rusty is a 17 year old dachshund and has been raised on Cesar. He is very picky and only eats the various steak choices. He prefers the filets now and doesn’t care

Rusty is a 17 year old dachshund and has been raised on Cesar. He is very picky and only eats the various steak choices. He prefers the filets now and doesn’t care for ones with potatoes. He eats the grilled steak and eggs every morning. I like that I don’t have to go to the store and can have it delivered. I have been very happy with Chewy...they are prompt and if I need to call they are always friendly and helpful.

2 are great , 4 my dog will not touch

My little guy has become extremely picky in his old age. He turns up his nose at his old standby Science Diet, and he hated all the Blue Buffalos I tried. Out of desperation I decided to try Cesars and he devours it. Even is back to jumping around when I am filling his bowl. The food smells like human food, not nasty dog food smell! Highly recommend!

My little guy loves this food....loves it! He has eating issues and goes thru an approach avoidance ritual but then leans over tentatively and sniff, then gives it a cautious try......and then licks the plate clean. I hope it is nutritonally complete because it is all he wants to eat. (sometimes I get away with adding a little kibble from his sister's left overs.)

Good mixer

I buy these cesars for my picky eater to mix with his prescription food. Before he was on that I mixed with his old food also. I’m sure you could use it as a stand

I buy these cesars for my picky eater to mix with his prescription food. Before he was on that I mixed with his old food also. I’m sure you could use it as a stand alone but I don’t. My Boston terrier won’t eat his food without it now. Thankfully, the price is good and if you only use half or a third of the can per meal to mix in, it’s an even better value.

Maggie Mae, my wife's pit-bull terrier, loves this on top of her Beneful dry food. My wife has tried to give Maggie Mae other combinations of foods, with advertised 'higher quality ingredients', but she wouldn't eat anything until my wife broke down and gave her the Beneful + Little Cesar's + Fresh Veggies, warmed up in her bowl. I'm sure that Maggie Mae would want me to give this a 5 star, but I have reached a certain age, where I have come to appreciate things more refined, and it bothers me that I can't impart this on our fuzzy little girl. She too is getting old, and I want to do every tiny little thing to help her stay with us and healthy, as long as possible. So this is my reason for only 4 stars. Lucky for me, Maggie Mae doesn't read these. She has a look that lets you know she is disappointed with you.
