So far pretty Joey proof

One of my cats (Joey) likes to eat toys, as in chew up and swallow. Every toy that I consider buying has to be inspected for potential spots that would be too easy to gnaw into pieces. Unfortunately most toys are too easy to gnaw into pieces. He rarely plays with toys like he’s supposed to. He just wants to gnaw and eat. So far this pickle has endured Joey’s gnawing, though I did have to cut off the tag and felt “stem” (he ate a piece of that). My other cats are normal cats that understand the concept of playing with toys. Joey only wants to eat them. Most toys in my house have to be put away when the people aren’t around to supervise. My cats LOVE these pickles, I wish that Joey wasn’t such a maniac so they could enjoy them at their leisure. If you also have a weirdo cat who wants to chew toys to oblivion (and maybe eat them too), this is definitely one to consider.

First of all, it's crinkly, which makes him a little happy. Second, it is girthy, thicker than the others, And it has a little heft to it. Go on and giggle, but understand there's something about the size of this thing that he can't get over. Lastly, the pickle has mesh on the back so even my 13-year-olds old man claws get stuck in them when he's playing with it so he can actually carry it, which adds a little bit of excitement to his day. I am so happy that Joey has a pickle. It's absolutely his new favorite thing!

He likes his banana and fish but this keeps his attention for a long time. It is filled with catnip and very plump. It is the perfect size for him to kick and attack. We were concerned with the net because of his lack of a canine tooth but not a problem at all. I will always keep several available at all times!

I'm not going to lie, I bought this catnip pickle toy as an impulse buy to fulfill for my free shipping and didn't think anything of it. Once I opened my package and let her sniff it, SHE WENT CRAZY FOR IT! I was in complete shock as she nearly took it out of my hands and began to rub her head on it. Not even minutes later she snuggled against it and since that moment she is never seen far away from her favorite pickle! It makes me so happy to see her happy and actually enjoy a catnip toy OR even any toy for once! This pickle is life changing and brought a side to my cat I never thought I would see! I saw this was one of the most popular toys and I looked at my boy and said "we'll see about that" he's always been eh about toys he gets bored easily and he's very picky so I figured he would care less about this but I would say he actually uses and plays with the pickle at least once a day. is it engaging? not really but he sure loves to pick and bite and kick at it. my only complaint is how small it is I wish it was a little bit bigger but I guess truly that just depends on the size of your cat. my boy is a bit on the bigger size (13 lbs) and he still loves to kick it but it can be kinda hard and a little small to kick. overall would recommend even to picky toy cats.

I just gave a stray kitty a home and I love seeing how happy this toy makes him! He holds it in his front paws rolling around and rubbing it all over his face then bites it and gives it some good kicks! When he's done playing he wraps his front legs around it and rests his face on it looking so content. Seeing him so happy and content when just a few weeks ago he was on the streets and all alone just warms my heart! It's also so stinking cute! The crinkle sound it makes really gets his attention and he likes to grab it by hooking a claw in the side with the mesh and then pulling it to him. It's easily his favorite toy!
