How long do these last?

The filter should be replaced every 3-4 weeks or when there are visible signs that the filter is saturated with foreign matter (debris, food, hair, etc.) More frequent changes may be necessary due to indoor environmental and water conditions, as well as multiple pet use.

Do these filters remove flouride from tap water?

The filter does not remove flouride. The Catit Triple Action filter removes magnesium and calcium from tap water (2). These minerals can accumulate in your pet’s lower urinary tract and lead to urinary tract diseases, which is a common health issue for cats. It also removes odors caused by bacteria and chlorine (1), and retains stray hairs, sediment and debris (3).

This is a staple in my home. I have the catit original cat fountain and its the only fountain for me at least thats lasted for a little longer than 7 years. I tried

This is a staple in my home. I have the catit original cat fountain and its the only fountain for me at least thats lasted for a little longer than 7 years. I tried generic filters and personally I don't like them.. they're flimsy. These are made for my fountain and I dont have to worry that they're not doing anything or just floating where you put them. These sit securely and are perfect aside of that they can be pricey..

These are the water filters I use for my cat’s fountain. They do their job quite well, but since the fountain itself is made of plastic, I still need to clean it frequently to prevent mold buildup. Overall, they work as expected and help maintain better water quality. Highly recommended, especially if you live in an area where tap water has high calcium levels!

This is great for cats! It’s a little bit fussy to clean the pump though but it’s still going strong! It hasn’t broken or given us problems. I suggest using the catit filters and not generic ones. I had sand and carbon come out of the generic ones and mess up the pump. The pump is easy to clean. I use a straw brush to get in the small holes. You need to clean that as well as the plastic parts of the fountain once a week. The filter can last longer that way as well.

Wrong ones but made it work..

Omg..so ordered the wrong ones but had to use because I ran out of the ones I needed so had to go out and buy the right ones the ones I got had a plastic ring on
