I have purchased countless toys for Samwise. He doesn't like catnip or silvervine, and most teasers don't last long. This lure captured his attention immediately and has withstood chewing, batting, and chasing as our new nightly routine. I'm impressed with the durability and only wish I had found this toy earlier! I see Chewy has a few additional lures available and hope they add more.

I included videos because it’s best to SHOW how much he loves this toy! He knew what it was because we have a similar toy that he also loves. I chose Lizzie the Lizard to attach to this one. It seemed less destructible than what I’m used to for the other toy and so far it has held up well. They have many choices and we will try the Bee next because that’s his favorite with the other toy. I love the wand and the attaching “string” I will call it, but it’s a plastic coated line and it’s good because it does not get stuck under table legs when he successfully takes the toy away from me. These are to be played with by yo and your cat. I understand: don’t let the cat just take the toy away and I agree with that but after we play for a while, I do let him have it and he drags it around the house a little bit, but I am watching him every moment and after a little while, I’ll take it away and we have to hide it because if he can see it, he will get it. He loves it that much! All these things I talk about on the videos. So I’ll stop my written review. I highly recommend this toy as a good choice for interactive play between you and your cat. My cat is almost 3 years old. I wouldn’t call him overly active, but he has normal activity and rests and relaxes most of the time.

Guys! I wasn’t expecting much with this wand, just another interactive toy to stimulate my kitties for a few moments but this toy was different. As soon as I picked it up even my one cat that doesn’t play much with toys was hooked. I don’t know what it is about this one but they could be napping and would wake up just to participate. The construction of this wand is very sturdy, the “string” is reinforced for even the wildest of kitties. I also love the fact you can change out the toys at the end using the clasp. I definitely recommend getting one of these for your cats

My picky cats LOVE this thing.

I've spent an absurd amount of money on different toys to try and keep my little beasts entertained. Most toys only last about a half an hour before they get bored

I've spent an absurd amount of money on different toys to try and keep my little beasts entertained. Most toys only last about a half an hour before they get bored and look at me like I'm stupid, or my girl chews straight through the string and tries to swallow it. We're a week in to having this toy and they both still go full murder-mode when we play (I suspect it might be because the color and tail length make it look a lot like a real mouse). Some fuzz has fallen off the tail end but it's still intact, and the string is made of some kind of flexible plastic that they haven't been able to gnaw through. I wake up to it at the foot of my bed every morning, and come home from work to it sitting on the entryway rug. They even leave it on the bath mat while I shower. Highly recommend for cats who are picky about playtime or like to parade their "kills" around the house.

Stray kitty loves this one and comes into our house to play with it non-stop alongside Cat Dancer. This is the second Cat Lures Lightning Rod we've bought. This one isn't as long as the original one but is super lightweight, which actually is the perfect size for kitty to drag, along with the cute lizard attachment, to her mat once she catches it. She plops it down and we do it all over again. Easy-use clip opening to detach lizard and add another toy lure. Love.

A one or two-pack replacement of this lizard would be amazing!

Our cats go nuts for this Lizzie the Lizard wand - far more than any wand before! Both our boys enjoy chasing it around, and will happily do so for as long as I keep it up. We’re a few weeks since purchase and they have not tired from it! The rope is more of a wire than the usual elastic I’m used to, but it seems more durable and easier to manipulate during play. The toy itself is also very durable and has resisted a lot of chewing and clawing!

I am fostering a cat, and he is so in love with this toy. He can play with it for a very long time ... I tend to get bored way before he does. He loves catching the lizard and will eventually let his guard down, which is when I quickly flick it into the air again for him to chase. He gets so tired playing with it, and it is so fun to watch. It is always tricky to get it away from him. My foster kitty highly recommends this toy!
