I, for myself, always get generics. However, I have had experienes where generics from some RX companies don't work as well as from other companies. This month, due to a mixup I had to get the brand name med this month for Jed. (Carprieve instead of Carprofen) And WOW, my dog seems to be SO MUCH HAPPIER AND ACTIVE! Amazingly so. We have had every single type of weather since we got the new meds; warm and sunny, rainy and cold, cold with no rain, freezing, etc. and I think the Carprieve is preforming way above expectations. Regardless of the price I think I have to get my boy the name brand from now on. I feel so bad that I didn't know the generics were failing my boy. Ugh

Has helped my lab tremendously! Anytime I think we’ve walked too far and he may have some hip pain. I give him one. He’s no longer experiencing hip pain!

Quick response and refill

Mia having her medicine on time means that she doesn’t have to worry about feeling achy, and she continues to be a happy playful pup, aka 10 years old dog

Can't really evaluate fairly. Veterinarian initially prescribed for on-set stiffness in joints (age 13). Directions from doctor to administer daily 30 minutes after morning feeding. This is a small tablet (given orally) for a 34# dog who avoids them at all costs...first dose = no issues. Second, small amount of reflux - ditto third try. Vet advised STOP. Plan B: we now have almost one month feeding supplement (glucosamine) powder at each meal. No digestive issues at this point and apparently by the licked-clean feeding bowl, no dietary issues either!! The better news - dog (Sheltie) stiffness seems to be less influencing his daily routine! Better choice for us.

Medication helps our old girl move

Carprofen caplets 100 mg really helps our 12 year-old Golden Retriever with arthritis jump up and down on and off the bed and in and out of our SUV, plus run on

Carprofen caplets 100 mg really helps our 12 year-old Golden Retriever with arthritis jump up and down on and off the bed and in and out of our SUV, plus run on her daily romps in the park. She’s getting so stiff in her old age but these caplets keep her moving. But we keep her harness on with the handle on top to assist her so she doesn’t injure her shoulders, hips or legs when jumping!

Effective & economical arthritis relief

My Sheltie has responded well to the carprofen for arthritis management. The price is right. The caplets are on the large side, but Theo wolfs them down with everything

Arrived in lightening time

Pills are small and easy to administer to this mini Australian Shepherd.. They also appear to have helped this 12 year old guy, as he seems to be climbing stairs

Amazing!

Carprieve (& Vetriscience) has been a game changer!! He's happy,, trotting, even a lope at times & only a slight limp. Regular Carprofen didn't help.
