Is this safe for ingestion? I see my dwarf hamster eats it sometimes

As with any substrate, there is a potential risk of impaction if your pet ingests a sufficient amount of bedding. Observe your pet and seek veterinary care if you suspect impaction of the GI tract.

I have a female box turtle that loves to hide in her bedding would this be safe to use for her. We wanted something that would add color plus allow her to hide as she likes

can you use this for an outside cage for a rabbit?

While this can be used outside, it's recommended to make sure it is not exposed to the weather (rain/snow/dew) so it stays dry and soft. In the wintertime it can be used to help keep them warm and cozy by providing a deep layer of it in their hutches. It’s especially great for nesting baby rabbits to keep them warm.

I’ve purchased different beddings with all kinds of textures, colors and smells. This one is probably the most efficient bedding I’ve owned and I’ll be sticking to it. It’s perfect for hamsters, my two babes love it. The texture isn’t as rough as other reviewers make it seem. It masks the odor really well but of course if you have larger animals like bunnies or guinea pigs, they will have larger droppings thus more of the smell regardless. The vibrant colors are an added plus, you can’t see the animal droppings as well compared to single colored bedding so it always looks clean. The photos I’ve attached are with the bedding in use for over a week!

I love carefresh bedding, I usually use “sea glass” this time I bought “confetti” because the colors are cute too and I wanted to try it out, when I opened my bag it looked fine but then I started to put the bedding into the cage and noticed this weird stuff that’s like gray foam, thank god my daughter noticed that and we took it out. Maybe we just got a bad batch anyway be careful.

I love this bedding. It keeps my hamsters smell down, especially with spot cleaning. Lady Applesauce loves it because it's thick/get compact enough that she can burrow. I almost wish they had a bigger package than the 50L, but we do alright with a 50L plus some of the 23L when I do spot changes/a bi-weekly half change. We have her in a 40 gallon tank, and with some sloping we can get the bedding about 6 inches deep so she has some burrowing spots.

Purchase for bedding for our rabbits and guinea pigs.I used to buy the natural bedding, but one day they were out and bought the "birthday cake".....pastel colorful bedding. I normally dont like dye but it did really look cute in their cages and they dont seem to eat it. This time around I bought a brighter color....."confetti".......its really cute and bright. Love that Chewy.com carries this and more. I took off one star because, I dont think it really helps with odor control.....I still have to change the cages twice weekly....ten days wont cut it.

Updated my order to an autoship and no longer have to worry about the pet store being out! Plus my local pet stores are selling this bedding for $24.99 while chewy is at $18 with the autoship! We have tried many types of paper litter over the years and we keep coming back to this one. We actually love the different colors available and can coordinate

We have tried many types of paper litter over the years and we keep coming back to this one. We actually love the different colors available and can coordinate with the seasons, holidays, etc. The piggies actually go to the litter most of the time to do their business so it makes daily cleaning so much easier. It has not smell, but it is compacted you need to fluff it up a bit. We have two guineas and this usually last a few weeks, with daily removing of their waste. Just clean out the soiled parts and fluff it a bit, and you are good to go for the next day.

We love it!

I was previously ordering another brand that claimed to have the same qualities as this, but I never knew how much of a lie that was until we started using CareFresh!

I was previously ordering another brand that claimed to have the same qualities as this, but I never knew how much of a lie that was until we started using CareFresh! The odors truly do stay away that long- it's fantastic. My guinea pig girls seem to like it more, too!
