This bedding is not made with any added fragrance, it is made of made from reclaimed natural wood and paper fiber obtained from partnerships with tissue and paper manufacturers, sourced from a combination of kiln-dried woods including Western Hemlock, Spruce, Douglas Fir and Pine that has never been treated.

WARNING- NOT appropriate for small animals

This product should absolutely not be on the market or advertised for small animals. Even just opening the bag, a huge cloud of dust and tiny particles flew out

This product should absolutely not be on the market or advertised for small animals. Even just opening the bag, a huge cloud of dust and tiny particles flew out into the air. As I poured some of the bedding out and saw just how extreme the dust problem was, I knew there was no way I could use this for my mice, and I feel genuinely concerned for the health and safety of any small animal that uses this bedding. It is NOT SAFE to use. It is FILLED with dust and tiny fibers that will be breathed in by your animal, which can lead to serious illness and death. I even tried to sift this stuff, but there was such an extreme amount of dust flying around that I realized it wasn't even worth it to try to make this stuff useable. For those who need visual proof, the photo attached shows how much dust there was just stuck to the side of the bowl I dumped it in, and the clump in my hand is from wiping my finger across a tiny spot on the edge of the bowl.

Fun and pretty!!!

I can see but not smell my little white mouse!

I really like Carefresh bedding! I had some softer bedding, free of all dyes. This bedding is good and all, but I could smell my little white mouse after she peed

I really like Carefresh bedding! I had some softer bedding, free of all dyes. This bedding is good and all, but I could smell my little white mouse after she peed in it, just after I cleaned her home! But to find her, after she buried herself? Scary stuff! So I mixed some of that old bedding (clean, of course!) in with this colorful Carefresh bedding and my little white mouse had a party! No missing nor smelling her now! Yay Carefresh! I emergency purchased a brand starting with "K" at our local store and the smell was terrible! I went through that bag in less than a week because I was changing her litter pan twice daily. I ordered this brand from Chewy and now have bags of it on hand because there is NO bunny smell with it!

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Sea Glass was now being carried on Chewy's site, I usually go out of my way to Petsmart to buy it. It's one of my favorites,

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Sea Glass was now being carried on Chewy's site, I usually go out of my way to Petsmart to buy it. It's one of my favorites, this and confetti. Love the color, minimal dust, soft and fluffy for the pigs and no odor. I just wish Chewy carried it in the bigger size as these small bags don't help me much.

Please do not use this bedding. I had an amazingly sweet and wonderful English angora rabbit that was my Esa. I got this bedding because I thought it was cute and would be softer for her. A week later I find her dead in her cage. After a biopsy this bedding was found in her system and had caused her to clogged up. I feel so lost without her. I wish I'd have just bought regular bedding and I would still have her with me. Just because it looks nice doesn't mean it's good.

No odor control whatsoever

This bedding is soft and my hamster likes it. It has no odor control whatsoever. My hamster uses a "toilet" bowl with corncob litter, but he also pees all around

This bedding is soft and my hamster likes it. It has no odor control whatsoever. My hamster uses a "toilet" bowl with corncob litter, but he also pees all around that area. I have to remove the bedding around that area everyday, wash the area with enzyme cleanser and then put down new bedding. Every single day. It stinks after one day. My hamster is a Syrian male.
