Something is wrong with 16oz bag not 4oz

My cockatiel eats this all of the time. He would not eat anything from this new 16oz bag. I opened the other two bags, nope. Went to a local store and purchased

My cockatiel eats this all of the time. He would not eat anything from this new 16oz bag. I opened the other two bags, nope. Went to a local store and purchased a 4oz bag, he loved it. Chewy replaced my 16oz bags with equal amounts of 4 oz bags and my bird is eating out of them. Not sure if in harvesting the millet there was an issue or what. I do know that normally the 16 oz bags have very large pieces, which I love and 4 oz are usually thin and small. Must be a harvesting difference. I’ll try the 16 oz bags in a few months to see if things are back to normal.

When I first found this millet brand on Chewy the stalks were light, grand full, the best quality I’ve ever seen. I stopped the delivery service I was using and started to buy on Chewy. Since adding this product to auto ship the quality of the millet has been poor, dry stalks half filled with root rot. I’m really disappointed my first purchase was such good quality, what happened?

my cockatiels and chickens love this millet treat, although My Quaker is nonplussed, he does enjoy these from time to time. The millet comes on the sticks and keeps the birds occupied as they pluck the seeds off. I usually buy the smaller version package of this brand but opted for the size up. I’ve yet not had any problems with quality of these, they have been good - even if some of the seeds are not on the stick, i just pour what’s in the bottom of the bag into the bird’s food bowl. I am glad I ordered before my old bag was gone, because the new bag is Not resealable - the older packaging had a pinch together close top to reseal. So now I put the new millet into the old packaging so I can keep it closed up. I have always kept millet for the bird treats & have bought other brands elsewhere in the past, Overall I feel this product is a good value and have more recently stuck with this brand.
