Bravecto Plus has been a great option for Pebbles. The application itself is quick and simple, which is appreciated because Pebbles treats the whole event like a major betrayal. By some kind of grace, my wife has taken on the role of applying it, which means she has also accepted becoming the temporary villain in Pebbles’ eyes. Pebbles attempts to flee every time and usually goes into hiding, but eventually she comes back out and decides to forgive - or at least file the incident away in her “things to use against us later” memory bank. Overall, it’s easy to use, lasts a good while, and gives us peace of mind. Five stars from the humans. Pebbles would probably leave a more dramatic review, but she is healthy, loved, and doing well with it. I based this around Pebbles’ actual Bravecto Plus topical prescription from her vet records.

My cat is 14 and I'm very scared this will kill her or cause permanent damage after reading the reviews of neurological damage from this product. My vet recommended this. I applied it yesterday on my cat, then had a weird gut reaction that I should dig deeper into reviews. I saw how many people's cats had severe negative issues, so I quickly washed off the medication with a rag and soapy water....when that didn't work because of the thick gel...I used rubbing alcohol. Despite feeling like I got most of the product off within a few minutes, the result was a bleeding bald spot the next day. And my cat is acting very odd. She has avoided the golden retriever dog here her whole life, and last night she was trying to climb on him and lick his paws and he ended up snapping at her. THIS IS POISON! DO NOT USE! I'm so tired of listening to vets and ending up in situations where my cat is worse off from using bad pain medication (in the past that caused neurological issues) and now this "safe" medication. It's poison. I will go natural from here on out whatever that takes to keep away the fleas.

After years of use, it made my cat's fur fall out at the application site. She's never liked me putting it on, but I suspect it feels like it burns. She has generally started to shed a lot from the rest of her back as well. I will be switching products.

This product has always sorted out my cat's fleas with more efficacy than other brands. I for one am glad my vet prescribed them. Seems like a majority of the low reviews are from people who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. I see a one star review complaining that the cap is "too hard to get off." It's not meant to come off. You twist it to unseal it. That's it. It's so easy a caveman could do it. I see a two star review given because their cat doesn't like to cooperate during application. The temperament of your cat is not the product's fault. Would you rate a shampoo poorly because your cat doesn't like baths? The only low reviews I can somewhat understand are those regarding allergic reactions. But even then, for as unfortunate as it is, I don't think that it is the product's fault. This is prescription medicine, not OTC garbage. As with any medicine, your vet should have been consulted prior to use.

My Stella the Cat is so allergic to fleas that her fur falls out. She has never been out of the house but one time, fleas somehow got to her. It was awful. The vet recommended Bravecto every three months. I trust Chewy delivery to make sure we stay on schedule with the applications so she will always be safe.

After she started breaking out in raw painful looking hot spots, my vet diagnosed my 6 year old Siamese Calico mix with a flea allergy. The Seresto flea collar was recommended, but since my cat spends a great deal of time outdoors, I didn't want to put a flea collar on her for fear she'd get snagged on our fence or a stray branch in the yard. Instead, our vet prescribed the Bravecto topical, and it works like a dream! Each dose is slated to last for 2 months, but my cat seems to remain flea and tick free well beyond 2 months, and she doesn't appear to experience any of the adverse side effects most topical flea treatments cause.

Recently moved across the country to an area that has fleas and ticks and this brand was recommended by my vet. My boy, Oscar was itchy and had hair loss and was not himself for several days. I felt really bad. Will not be using this again. I’ll be trying Revolution brand which has heartworm prevention included.

I am raising my cats naturally, only feed species appropriate diet allow them to roam the outdoors like a cat should and not over vaccinating them. The only problems is we have ticks in our region. My cats dread the day when they have there topical spot put on. The previous topicals I have used stated they worked on ticks but I would always have to remove ticks weekly from at least one of them. The last 2 month (first try) my cats have not had a single tick and they roam the same area. My cats and I are very happy with this product

My indoor cat is apparently allergic to fleas and her own dander, making her an itchy, hot mess even in the winter. Our vet prescribed the Bravecto for her. She is definitely less itchy than with any other brand I've tried. Plus, unlike the other ones, she doesn't seem to mind when it's applied to her, for the most part.
