This cat litter is all that it advertises in the name! My favorite part is the low dust and scent-free feature. I can have the litter box in the same room as me, without worrying about the dust and the smell. If the cat is actively going to the bathroom, then yes you will smell the poo, but only until the cat covers it up. The part I don’t like about the product is the bag the litter comes in. The bag does have a handle on the side to help pour it, but it felt like it would break while using it. Also, there is a sticker to close the bag, that works as expected. Another great thing about this litter is that it doesn't get tracked around the house. The clumps are great, especially with urine. I think my cat approves because he laid in the litter box as soon as I added this litter for the first time,lol.

I’ve only used one kind of cat litter for my cats. So, I was a bit skeptical to try something new. I can say there is zero smell after the cats have used their box

I’ve only used one kind of cat litter for my cats. So, I was a bit skeptical to try something new. I can say there is zero smell after the cats have used their box. The litter also clumps well around the urine and feces. The litter also doesn’t stick to their feet as much!!! My only complaint is it’s much heavier than the usual litter I purchase. That makes it more difficult for me to scoop and move the litter around the box.

I'm torn so choose wisely

I'm stuck bc I used worlds best for years my cats used it no issues. I was "influenced" to try this litter out and man did my cats love this way more! It does clump

I'm stuck bc I used worlds best for years my cats used it no issues. I was "influenced" to try this litter out and man did my cats love this way more! It does clump up pee/poop like it says. Oh if they pee in same spot it will pool up on top so you'll have to pour more litter over it to make it clump... here's the worst.. It does not help with odor control like not at all. The cleaning is mess. This litter gets stuck to my stainless steel pans sooo bad where ever they pee. It also gets stuck on the scooper horribly to where I'm outside with the hose cleaning it. It's a big task cleaning the litters now a days. Also this litter bc it is so fine you can't really see it being tracked all over your house until you vacuum or until you see it on your couch or bed. I tried to go back to world's best but they wanted nothing to do with it!! I really think they just like how the very fine litter feels on their feet. So thus I'm torn. Make the choice wisely cat parents.

Throughout the past 25 years I have used three well-known commercial brands of litter for the different cars I have had. By far the Boxiecat Extra Strength Odor Control Clumping Clay is the absolute best product that I've used. It was recommended to me by an independent small business. Unlike other products I've been using, this product does not cause a wet, sticky paste on the pan (thank Heaven!), it fully clumps instead of leaving behind small clumps which slip through the scooper, it really is dust free (my experience despite some of the reviews here), very low tracking compared to any product I have used, doesn't stick to the cat's paws or legs, and controls odor unlike anything I've used. No more ammonia or other smells. I rarely have to dump the litter and clean the box like I used to. I highly recommend that you give this a try.

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel this cat liter deserves to be bought by everyone that is deciding to purchase it. I use to use Crystal cat liter. It was expensive but worth it. I then tried this cat liter and nothing compares to ANY other kind. It clumps right away and when you scoop it up nothing falls through. I have not changed my liter in a month and no smells. It also does not stick to the bottom like all other liters. Great price! Worth every penny spent. Try it and you will absolutely agree. I will NEVER try any other cat literally.

Strong preference by the feline council

I put a litter box of this and a litter box of our normal litter side-by-side and let the cats chose and there was only one urine in the other box by the end of

I put a litter box of this and a litter box of our normal litter side-by-side and let the cats chose and there was only one urine in the other box by the end of the week, the rest was in this litter. I also left it out for a month to actually see if it held up to its claim, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that by the end of the month there was not a significantly stronger odor to that box. The litter itself is very fine, which did make it a little hard to scoop at first, but after a few times I got used to it. I did like that even after scooping out urine, there wasn't a bunch of dirty chunks that had broke off still sitting in there. There was a little dust when I first dumped it in, but I didn't get a lot of dust when I was scooping. I have an extra large, high sided litter box and one 28lb bag was just a little too much for that size box. If I didn't fill it very full, I could probably get one and a third litter boxes out of it. When I dumped the entire thing into the box, I had a full 4 inches of litter in there. Overall, the feline council seemed to prefer this litter over our normal clumping clay litter.

Not good anymore

I was using this for over a year. Searched high and low for good litter for my litter robot. It was good till it really really wasn't. It forms a wet cement like

I was using this for over a year. Searched high and low for good litter for my litter robot. It was good till it really really wasn't. It forms a wet cement like substance that doesn't ever really dry out. I have had to scrape the heck out of it to dislodge it. On my cats feet like glue. It doesn't mask any odor anymore. I have to do a massive deep clean on my robot. My cats are not happy and I am not either. Never again. I don't even know how to dispose the almost full bag now.

The things most important to me are low tracking, low dust, and odor-control. This has been the best litter for those three things, hard clumping it is not. (I use the extra-strength unscented) I ran out and had to pour a bit of my cat’s old brand in and that made the Boxiecat really stand out as far as dust and tracking control. I’ve tried so many and this is the most dust-free I’ve found. My cat doesn’t linger and whine in the box anymore, and he isn’t sneezing and covered in dust. Odor control has been great as well. The only issue I have is the clumping.... it claims rock-hard clumps that don’t sink down. That is definitely NOT the case, the clumps crumble quite a bit, which is annoying, and have stuck to the sides and bottom more than other litters I’ve used. No litter is perfect and though I wish it clumped better I’m ok with it lasting not quite as long due to that since the dust, tracking, and odor control is so great.

I have been buying the Tidy Cat litter because of the ease of availability at the box/grocery stores. Every time I would clean the boxes, the dust would literally make me choke!! I hated it and decided if it affected me, my cats were having to breathe it in as well. After much research, Boxiecat was the answer. It resembled the Tidy Cat insofar as the size of the granules, so mixing it gradually with the old litter was easy. Once I cleaned the box out entirely and only used the Boxiecat litter and NO MORE DUST!! I mean NONE. I love it and it clumps well without it breaking into a thousand pieces. The only negative would be that it does track more than the Tidy Cat, even with a high-sided box and litter pads.
