This recipe is a complete and balanced food. Feed 4-5 servings per 6 pounds of body weight per day. Individual cat's requirements may vary due to age, breed, environment, and activity level. Adjust food as required to maintain optimal body condition, and ask your veterinarian if you are unsure.

Cats love the taste and eat it happily. my problem is with the odd packaging. the food is placed in a twin plastic container, hard to peel open unless you have a strong grip. I use pliers. then there is no room in the tiny plastic containers to mix in the laxative medication or water or anything to soften the food. I used a separate bowl. None of these are necessary with other cat foods that come in recyclable, tin cans. This impractical, environmentally unfriendly plastic containers need to be replaced by tin can.

My kitten is eight month old now and he really loved his kitten food which fancy feast stop making so I’m switching him over and gone through five or six different kinds of food and brands and this is the one he finally gobbled down he loves this food in the individual serving packages. They make it in cans and he did not like that at all so apparently this has more fresh stuff in it and he really does like it.

My cat was not liking left over food stored in the fridge so I found out about single servings. He liked having room temp food all the time and I like not wasting food. I then looked to see if there were any other kinds/brands of single servings and found this Blue Buffalo and decided to try. After giving my cat BB he refused to eat the previous single serve food I was giving him and prefers BB and will eat it room temp or fridge temp. For me, BB are less smelly than the other brand and much easier to open, so I switched!

My cat loses his mind for this food!

My cat is usually fed dry food, and from time to time I give him bits of plain chicken or pork that I've cooked orbits of tuna from a can- he's almost always polite

My cat is usually fed dry food, and from time to time I give him bits of plain chicken or pork that I've cooked orbits of tuna from a can- he's almost always polite when I bring him food, even the good stuff- and he either sits and meows, or stands next to his bowl waiting for me to give the food. The first time I opened this food near him, he MEEOOOWWRRED, eyes got huge, whiskers out, and he stood on his hind legs trying to get at it. The second time he was fed this food, he activated Insanity Mode, ran all around knocking things over, jumped up on the person with the food, and tried to swat it out of their hand! He never does anything like that- he's a lazy floor cat, and rarely ever jumps or climbs when he doesn't have to. Sometimes I can't even have enough time to get the food out of the container, he's so nuts for it that he shoves my hands out of the way and licks the little tub clean. He practically inhales this food, and the same goes for the Tuna flavor from Blue Buffalo. All this is from a cat so picky that he only eats the yolk from a boiled or poached egg- he hates the egg whites. This food isn't as stinky as I'm used to wetting food being, and the empty container in the trash doesn't make the trash can reek. There is a lot of moisture in this solid lump of wet food, and that makes me happy that my kitty's getting more liquids in his diet. Since he's been eating this brand of cat food, his hair seems to have more luster and is softer. I like that he's getting healthier ingredients than in the cheap dry kibble that is his favorite, and I like the little portioned containers to prevent over-feeding. Upon reading the reviews I was sure my picky cat would like this and ordered a case of it. I was dead wrong. He lived up to his "pickiest cat" title. I've literally tried every brand, every texture, even tried homemade chicken. Looks like I'll be donating yet another case of food. This has a strong odor to it, and it's a very dry pate. The consistency of it is not as smooth or palatable as, for example, the brand Wellness pate which has more moisture & not a smell to it. Now, most cats like smelly, but mine does not. I even tried mixing Applaws shredded chicken in broth with it, but he still wouldn't eat it. So the search continues for a food he will eat in addition to the Applaws chicken in broth.

Love this idea

First of all, I was noticing in the comments that people may not know how to get the two singles apart. You have to fold the whole piece in half on the crease line

First of all, I was noticing in the comments that people may not know how to get the two singles apart. You have to fold the whole piece in half on the crease line and then it just breaks in two. Then you peel off the lid completely and squeeze the container and the food slides out. The chopper is a good idea (I love it) but it is kind of awkward in practice because it's short, so you are kind of pressing the food with the side of the container too. I'll take it though since it eliminates the need for another utensil. I give my cat (10lbs) one of these in the morning and then a 5.5oz Wilderness pate at night, with dry food available too. He seems happy! He eats all of the spoonless single right away.

Great for Snack-Size

I bought these because I was looking for something smaller than a can of food for giving medication to my feline. I've never been able to get my pets to use Pill

I bought these because I was looking for something smaller than a can of food for giving medication to my feline. I've never been able to get my pets to use Pill Pockets and I hate having to manhandle them to force a pill down their throat. These 2.6 ounce servings are great for snacks, treats or medication administration. I've always been very pleased with Blue Buffalo products in general and this is another win!
