Beggin' Strips Real Meat with Bacon & Beef Flavored Dog Treats, 25-oz pouch

I was surprised when a friend told me that Beggin Strips contained harmful ingredients. I checked online and read that the preservative BHA is considered carcinogenic. I have bought these for years, even before I discovered Chewy.com, so your company is not at fault for my mistake in buying these. They are made by Purina (that's disappointing- I have been buying a prescription diet made by Purina for one of my dogs on the recommendation of my vet). I appreciate that Chewy shows country of origin and ingredients on the products they sell, and I love the convenience and customer service. It would be nice to know if there are known questionable ingredients in the foods, though. I will not buy Beggin Strips again, and plan to transition my dog from the Purina prescription food to something else.

My German Shepard Sarge will do any trick imaginable when I present this treat to him. He absolutely loves Beggin Strips and can't get enough. Highly recommend to all dog owners.

My dog will not let me in the house if he does not have his Dog Snacks, so when he starts running low I turn to Chewy for the same products as the big box stores at 20% less cost and delivery is within days. Sleeping in the yard was not too bad until the package came, but it hurt my feelings my dog changed the locks on the house until the Beggin Strips arrived.

I haven't given my dogs a treat like this before and they went bananas for it. We are using these treats as a reward for training new behaviors. These treats are stiff yet malleable and do look like bacon. We will purchase these in the future as our dogs will do anything for them.
