Bedsure Orthopedic Bolster Dog Sofa Bed with Removable Cover, Dark Grey, X-Large Pro

I was looking for a dog bed for my newly adopted 2 year old dog that is an aggressive chewer. The dog bed I had in her crate before had a tag on it and she started chewing it, ultimately causing a hole and her having a party with the filling. I purchased this as a replacement hoping that since it only had an emblem on the front that she wouldn’t chew it. I was wrong and she destroyed it in less than 24 hours, after only being crated for 3 hours. This is not the dog beds fault though, that is my dog’s insatiability to chewing and this review is not based on this. I’m a huge fan of another dog bed on chewy and it’s plush, washable and both my 65lb and 80lb dog love it. I’ve washed the covers several times and it’s easy to put the filling back in and maintains it’s shape. I believe that one is about $70-$80. This replacement bed is not as plush and the material wasn’t as thick but is cheaper. If I would have spent a little more time looking for a different dog bed without the visible tag and spent a little more money, I could have gotten one with better quality.

Description is wrong, assembly is required.... the foam pad comes folded in a vacuum pack, and the bolster/cover come vacuum packed in a seperate bag.... its roller-press vacuum packing, so the egg foam needs to be played with for a bit to actually bring it back from being pressed, once you massage the flat spots that didnt take air immediately, it does ok.... its obviously open-cell foam, so it will act as a sponge if it gets wet, and the cover doesnt appear to be waterproof at all, its just cheap-thin fabric.... Just layed around all day and the dog didnt have a problem with it other than getting a bit hot a few times When the dog is moving around on it, it sounds like an air-mattress, just an fyi, its kind of annoying.....

This is a great bed. When it comes let it air out and fluff for 24-72 hours before use. Good soft bed.Perfect size for my baby. She seems to love her bed. There is a foam egg crate but there is a divider on top of egg crate so not to get messed up in case of accidents. Zippered to take cover off to be washed. Grest size and grest price. 5/5 highly recommended. And in these’d photos she is also playing with her bam-bones hickory smoke flavor toy that is not very strong because she did chew pieces off of her toy but it is a very hard toy but can be chewed off which isn’t good. Made out of bamboo fiber. A toy not for aggressive chewers.

We have bought multiple beds from Chewy for our two large dogs. This Bedsore orthopedic Bolster bed has surprisingly thin bolsters and the mattress base is much thinner than we anticipated. Certainly not orthopedic - which is why we got it - for our aging German Shepherd. It DOES NOT have the support that we were expecting. If you are thinking about getting something for your senior dog, I would keep looking! It is too much trouble to return so we will keep it for a bit and probably donate it. The mattress is not firm and will probably thin out in no time.
