I like the idea of using this as a treat/training food since it’s smaller bits air dried. Lamb and venison is great to see as an option since most allergies are derived from chicken and some beef. This ain’t your Mama’s kibble! Our babies were sooooo excited to try Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete kibble and it was a hit! They LOVED every bite and wanted more. They liked it so much that we actually have used some as training treats and food toppers. Two of our dogs are really anxious due to past lives, so we have been feeding them this while everything is in chaos after Hurricane Helene, and they eat it right up. We are so happy that we had this on hand. The bag also mentions that by supporting Badlands Ranch, you are also supporting the Jason Debus Heil Foundation which “focuses on ending animal cruelty and abuse across the world”. I wish they told more about how actually buying their product supports their charity, but I do like that they are actively working to help animals in need. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

First, I missed that these bags are only 11.5 oz. Too small for the high price. The dogs loved all 3 flavors. I mixed it with their Kibble and fed it to them each night. Their kibble is always available in a gravity feeder as they are good to only eat when hungry. Each evening they would stand by the feeder but look up waiting for me to mix the bowls of this and kibble. I can’t justify the cost for these little bags. I’ll be on the lookout for similar but more reasonably priced.
