The Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete Raw Coated Morsels Chicken Dry Dog Food should be stored in a cool, dry place (but does not require refrigeration), and once a bag is opened, it should be used within 3 months. An individual serving should be discarded if prepared/partially eaten and left out for 24 hours without refrigeration, but can be refrigerated for up to 3 days of storage.

I was sent the Badlands Ranch freeze dried raw coated kibble in the chicken variety. I read the ingredients list before feeding to make sure there were no questionable

I was sent the Badlands Ranch freeze dried raw coated kibble in the chicken variety. I read the ingredients list before feeding to make sure there were no questionable ingredients and I’m happy to say all the ingredients passed the test. The kibble was quite a bit darker than my girls’ usual kibble. I mixed it in like a topper and put the bowl down for the real test…. Would they eat it? Yes! They gobbled it all down. I also like the fact that the company supports animal welfare.

Never tried a freeze-dried raw food before so the first three things I noticed about this product where it has REAL CHICKEN (no chicken meal), Minimally processed and Zero corn, soy wheat or fillers! The ingredients in this product are amazing. We all know the true test is will my dog eat this????? This product is a 10 out of 10 from the moment it showed up on my porch. My girl was all over the box! I even put her powdered medication underneath the food in the bowl of kibble and she ate everything. I have never in my lifetime had a dog take powdered medication in dry food, but I think that just proves how much she loves this product.

Awful Food/awful reaction

I would really like to give it a 0 or below. My chihuahua has been eating Badlands original food for at about a year with no issues. Since I do break up that food

I would really like to give it a 0 or below. My chihuahua has been eating Badlands original food for at about a year with no issues. Since I do break up that food for him as some of the pieces are rather large, I thought the Raw coated morsels would be great since they are so small. Every time I feed him even a tiny bit of this food, he vomits. This was a total waste of almost $70, but what’s worse is what my little boy has been going through. He has no problems with his regular Superfood Complete Chicken. I would not recommend this “new small morsel” food to anyone. It’s leaving me with some doubt now about continuing with any Badlands products.

Just to be clear, we are not drug addicts, but you would think my dogs were. They get so excited about this food. We only add 1/4c cup of this to their normal food, and they lose their minds. Understand, these are dogs that usually can take or leave their food for hours. Our family (teens and adults) has started to refer to it as dog crack. I wonder if your dogs might feel the same?

Although I know, expenses are high, I believe that Badlands Ranch is spending an extra extraordinary amount of money on advertising when they could be offering productat a lower price and retaining and gaining customers slower than they are now possibly, but they would be lifelong customers. Other than that, I that Badlands Ranch is a quality food Which my pup enjoys. I am aware it can be used as a topper. Normally, I use fresh meat or chicken boiled to top them, whichis the other way around.

This is the second product my dog is trying from this brand and so far she enjoyed both items a lot. She is a small/medium sized dog and the morsels for this food are nicely sized for a small dog (although she is not picky about kibble size) and crunchy which she appreciates. She ate the food quickly and enjoyed it. The bag has a ziplock closure built in for convenience although I usually have difficulty fully closing those and prefer to use with a bag clip.

I’ve been giving my Westie and Lab the Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete (chicken flavor), and they’re obsessed with it even my westie who is typically indifferent to food gets excited about it. They eat it right up, and I’ve noticed the transition from their current food to this one hasn’t caused any GI issues that I’ve noticed. It’s not the cheapest, but honestly they love it. It also has really good ingredients. Highly recommend.

I started with a few small handfuls to see if they liked it and made sure they didn't experience any nausea or diarrhea. They are pretty fussy, but gobbled it right up and did not seem to have any negative side effects. I mixed the rest of the bag with their current food and they were ok with that. Dog Food Advisor has reviewed this dog food and gave them a 4 out of 5 stars. This is what they say: "Badlands Ranch uses high-quality whole-food ingredients, free of preservatives and fillers. It is gently air-dried to retain nutrients, has a good source of fiber, and contains essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, making it a very good quality choice." The only con is that it is super expensive!
