Round instead of the usual broken up pieces

We’ve been using Badlands Ranch dog food in different flavors, for well over 2 years. This particular bag of the beef flavor, surprised us, not in a good way

We’ve been using Badlands Ranch dog food in different flavors, for well over 2 years. This particular bag of the beef flavor, surprised us, not in a good way. All the other flavors we have ordered, looked like broken up pieces. Some longer, some shorter. Ours dogs loved this aspect of Badlands Ranch dog food. This bag contained round pieces, which is making it more difficult for our dogs to eat and enjoy. They literally fall out of their mouths, while trying to eat them. Not only were we disappointed, but our dogs were as well. I honestly did not see on the bag, when ordering, that they were round pieces; not the normal stick like ones previously purchased. I should have contacted Chewy immediately, to exchange this bag. I’m sorry I did not. Watching my two dogs struggle with these very small round pieces, is difficult to watch. I won’t make this mistake again when ordering.

Started day one by blending 90/10 old food and new Badlands Ranch per the instructions. Came back to find their bowls weren’t empty and some of their old food was strewn about. When I looked closer, all of the Badlands Ranch morsels were gone and only burnt kibble was left. That’s when they both stared at me waiting for more yummy morsels in their bowls.

This food sounded great, my dog is getting older and so I thought this would be good for his bones and energy. Within the first 12 hours he started chewing his front legs and paws. I kept feeding it to him until this morning. I went back to Purina pro plan salmon mix. Hopefully he will stop chewing on his legs and paws. It was worth a try I should learn to buy small bags so I don't waste money.

Product ok Shipping gets a zero

The product is ok, not as good as the other badlands ranch food we have used in the past. The kibble is super hard and our dogs do not like it unless I boil water

The product is ok, not as good as the other badlands ranch food we have used in the past. The kibble is super hard and our dogs do not like it unless I boil water and pour over and allow to soak for an hour, yes it takes that long to penetrate. The shipping gets a zero first of all for the packaging, a 20# bag in a box that is too big and one piece of packing paper caused damage to the box during shipping. To make matters worse the delivery was delayed they said due to weather which I would have been fine with if I had not received 2 different parcels on 2 different days from UPS and another carrier. FedEx frequently misses delivery dates and do not follow the delivery instructions provided in their app. Boo FedEx.

Not the Same Recipe as the Small Bags

Shame on me for not looking more closely at the ingredients, but this large bag has a second ingredient of oats. The smaller bags do not have this. I realized

Shame on me for not looking more closely at the ingredients, but this large bag has a second ingredient of oats. The smaller bags do not have this. I realized this once I purchased it. It went over fine with my dogs, but they are labs and they eat sticks and poop :) so that's to be expected. Will probably not buy again and if I do go with Badlands Ranch I will buy the small bags.

Best dog food we’ve ever used

It doesn’t smell like dog food. It smells like real food. This brand makes real food for dogs with good ingredients and lots of nutrients. My 8 and 2 year old dogs
