Some vets recommend bully sticks over other chews, but bully sticks should still be used with caution. Bully sticks may be too hard for certain dogs' teeth—including puppies—and pieces can still break off and cause a potential hazard. That's why you should never leave your pup unsupervised with any chew. Pick the chew up between chew sessions and look out for pieces—including the end of the chew—that may present a choking hazard.
