My back yard has many feeders but birds often throw out seeds that are like tillers causing weeds. Does this bag go thin seed like this

Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2019
This bird food mix contains grain products (blend of milo and cut corn), white proso millet and black oil sunflower seeds.

Would this be a good chicken feed?

Answer by ChewyOct 31, 2018
This food is recommended for wild birds like finches, sparrows, juncos, cardinals, towhees, quail, doves, and buntings.

Is this a good choice for Northeast Ohio. I like to put seed out in the winter when the ground is frozen. I do live in an extremely rural area (surrounded by woods, fields and corn fields). If not what is the best blend of seed? Thank you.

Answer by ChewySep 17, 2018
This food is suitable for winter feeding.

I was looking for powderless bird food and this popped up (Audubon Park Wild Bird Food). Is it powderless? Thank you

Answer by ChewyFeb 26, 2019
None of their products are made with powder. Sometimes cracked corn or peanuts will create a powder-looking substance in the bag due to being shuffled around during shipping and handling.

A 20lb bag lasts less than week in my large feeder. I think the word got out that we have tasty food. When it’s empty, they hang out at the window looking in, I swear! lol We have way more birds hanging out than we used to. Turns out my free range chickens love it too. They often hang out under the feeder waiting for anything that drops.

I've attracted every bird in the neighborhood.

I filled my bird feeder with this seed mix and had no activity for a week. Then I had one bird stop by and I was so happy! Then a couple more birds the next day. Overnight we had really bad wind and it blew my feeder over and spilled the contents, about a gallon of feed on the ground. The next morning I woke up to 200 birds chirping and eating the seed. A flock of redwing black birds, a flock of house sparrows, white wing doves and one northern cardinal. So I decided to just spread some seed on the ground everyday. A week later I had attracted so many birds it was overwhelming, and they were pooping all over my newly painted black fence. Now, everyday I take out just two cups of seed and spread it on the ground when I am sitting outside and watch the birds. The northern red cardinal is so beautiful! He started bringing his girlfriend with him. If a flock of cardinals would visit, that be so cool!!! But red wing black birds and sparrows are just fine.

There is nothing more calming to me than hearing the sound of a dove. I have 5 platform feeders and when the blue jays come around, the doves will leave so I did some research and bought this food. Nothing in it that the blue jays crave so they stay in the back where I have a deer block they like and I have my doves that LOVE this food. At times, I will have up to 12 doves at a time. 3 in each feeder and the rest lined up on our fence waiting for a spot. I feed them and in return they sing their calming song. If you love doves, buy this food!

I have always liked this brand of food for my outdoor birds. The house sparrow and finches seem to really like it. I also have attracted some cardinals, black-capped chickadees, Pigeons, doves, cow birds, common grackles and a rose-breasted grosbeak. I am interested in birds and love having them around.

Great product

This is really a good quality birdseed. We were purchasing our seed from a local market and they changed brands. The new brand was mostly corn with no sunflowers

This is really a good quality birdseed. We were purchasing our seed from a local market and they changed brands. The new brand was mostly corn with no sunflowers. Even the sparrows turned up their noses or should I say beaks at it. I have about 10 feeders and the birds usually wait in line when we put out feed, but they didn't like the old seed we were giving them. Audubon has been around forever and we thought it would be good quality and it is for sure. Now we are happy and so are all the wild birds that come to visit us each day!

I got this seed mix since they were cheaper (for more) than what i was planning on getting. I put it in a new feeder i bought and im so happy to say that i saw the blue jays swarming! They do drop it like crazy on the floor (i guess to look for the sunflowers or something) but thats ok because what they drop, the pigeons or squirrels can eat! I will definitely buy this item from now on! I love Chewy so much!!

Excellent Feed

The birds and even a chipmunk love it. I can’t keep the feeder full! Even mourning doves eat off the ground and out of the bowl I leave out for the chipmunk.

The birds at my house seem to really like this. Mostly Doves, Finch, Sparrows, blackbirds and not to be left out Ravens. Was surprised about the Ravens, normally they ignore this type of fare. They can take over also but that is where my Lab, Jackson, comes in as the yard patrol. The smaller birds appreciate him.
