Pretty mild. I briefly smell it after I've poured the litter. Scooping? Barely noticeable. I'm pretty sensitive to smells (headaches, sometimes migraines and nausea, dizziness) and I don't have any reactions. Of course I realize everyone is different

Yes, it is! I've been using for almost 2 yrs. I go through less litter & less mess. The bottom litter used to stick to litter box and was a wet mess. NOT ANYMORE! I get unscented!

Plus the DUST and the tiny pieces were killing me. I researched for HOURS! Trying to find something affordable for cats that are 1 year old all the way up to 15 years old. And this litter here is the best! ARM AND HAMMER CLUMP AND SLIDE! It Clumps the lumps tight and hardly any dust at all and minimal tracking! The odors aren't so bad either but I also use arm and hammer double duty litter deodorizer. It works for heavy peeing and low dust and tracking. It's a few bucks more than generic but it's so worth it to me!! Even my mom approves after she came to cat sit for 4 days! She brought up the litter! And wished that she had that back in the day for our childhood cats! Easy scooping! Try it out!.

I also had an order of cat food wet and dry in this delivery. I’m not very happy that most of my litter had spilled out in my box that was delivered to my house and all over everything. Needless to say the mess of cat litter I had to clean up from the floor because it was leaking outside of the actual chewy box. Come on guys can we do a better job than this?

Chewy box had a busted corner because both litter boxes were in 1 Chewy box which makes it heavy for most delivery guys. So they wrestle it to the porch and just throw it down. I picked up Chewy box to take inside and when I turned the box to get through the door, all the litter that had spilled from the A&H containers then spilled out of the busted corner of the Chewy box and went all over my floor. This happens ALL THE TIME. They pack these boxes SO heavy that I usually have to unpack it on the porch and bring in one thing at a time....

We usually stock up on litter during the end of the year sales. Having 2 cats (a purrfect Princess who is neat and tidy, and a 15 lb toddler of an orange tabby mess), we go through a bit of litter. Not only is this Secret Sand mainly dust free, but it is excellent at clumping and sealing odors. The clumping of this litter is superb and urine is able to be scooped almost immediately after the cat goes and it comes out in one big ball, it doesn't fall apart. It's low. Tracking (excellent for cats like ours that think they must leave essence a la cat all about. The litter itself does smell a bit like kitty litter, but what do you expect? With free shipping, ordering this litter from Chewy also saved my back from the good ole heave ho from the shelf to the cart to the counter to the cart to the car to the house, the simple porch to house was so much easier! So if you are looking for a recommendation for some Secret Sandbox Supplies, this is your sign: you'll be happy. Your cats will be happy. Your wallet will be happy.

The Arm&Hammer line of Clump & Seal litters (there are several varieties of it) has been our go-to litter for many years now. It actually is mostly dust-free despite being a clay litter. It clumps really well. I only give 4 stars because I have purchased this from many different places over the years, and every time I order it or pick a box up at the store, the litter is often very different looking and smelling from box to box. I have two different boxes of the same brand and variety in my litter boxes right now and they are two completely different colors. I'm not sure why there's so much difference from box to box on looks and smell (some boxes smell like rotten strawberries??) but all boxes perform the same as far as dust-free and clumping is concerned.

I usually use arm and hammer double duty, and the odor control on this is much better somehow. My room is not saturating with ammonia/urea fumes. It clumps equally well as double duty. The sand will for sure track everywhere though like beach sand. The winter static is such that the sand will stick to my cat's fur like dust or lint even if it is dry. If it is wet and gets on her fur then it will stick to her fur and matte it if I don't use a wet wipe to gently remove it (which would only happen with double duty if it was overly saturated with moisture from not getting cleaned enough). I'm still debating whether i will repurchase it or stick to Double Duty but it has been fine enough
