The best no dust, low tracking, and litter cleanup REALLY does “SLIDE”

I love this particular brand of cat litter. I can’t remember any that are as dust free, track free, and is so effortless to scoop out the waste. It really does slide right out. I won’t buy any other brand except Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal-Slide. EVER! But now, let me tell you about the “Extra-Extra-Large (XXL) Litter Box” I purchased from Chewy. I’ve pampered a 20 lb Maine Coon for 5 years. I could never find a “large” litter box that was large enough for him. Oliver always looks so cramped and when he used the litter box, half of his body was in and half was of his body was out. But not anymore! I attached a picture of Oliver’s old litter box along side his new one and another attachment with Oliver inside his new litter box. He just loves it. And the design of the litter box keeps the litter “IN” the box. The XXL Litter Box is suited best with 2-28 lb boxes of Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal-Slide especially if there is more than 1 cat using the litter box. A 1-28 lb box of litter is sufficient (for a while) if there is only 1 cat using the litter box. Enjoy! The fur kids sure will.

Still looking

I’m coming off of using Ever Clean unscented for the past 13 years. The company got bought out a couple years ago and ever since then, the litter’s been very different

I’m coming off of using Ever Clean unscented for the past 13 years. The company got bought out a couple years ago and ever since then, the litter’s been very different. One of my cats has recently developed a cough, so I’ve been researching dust free litters. This is the first new litter I’ve tried in over a decade. 1. This is almost 100% dust free, which I love. 2. It’s a very different consistency from the EC, as this is darker, almost sand like, rather than the larger clay. 3. There’s little tracking that I’ve noticed, and it doesn’t seem to stick in their paws. 4. It actually clumps pretty well if you use enough litter in the box. I haven’t noticed any breaking apart into those annoying little baby pieces that you have to basically sieve through to remove. 5. I do notice it doesn’t give the best odor control with urine. I’ve got two cats that use the same box despite the effort to get them to use separate, and I scoop twice a day. If you keep up on the scooping, you probably won’t notice, but coming off of the EC superior odor control, it’s something to get used to. 6. I absolutely don’t love the scent. It’s smells like fruity cereal? Mix that with cat pee, and it’s an interesting thing. If they made this unscented, this litter would be much better. I’m going to try out a couple more different litters to see if something else works better, but I’d keep this in a pinch. On to the next brand!

Glucosamine treats smashed

When I opened the box that contained doggy pee pads and a 28 lb box of cat litter I saw something that was lying in the bottom of the box that resembled poop. When

When I opened the box that contained doggy pee pads and a 28 lb box of cat litter I saw something that was lying in the bottom of the box that resembled poop. When I removed the cat litter box I saw that it was the dog glucosamine treats that had gotten smashed in between the 2 boxes and the box of treats was opened and all treats are spilled out and mashed. This was apparently due to poor packing from Chewy and rough handling from FedEx.

The best litter I've ever used!

I have used Slide since it was introduced, rarely changing litters. I have a cat that does well with change thankfully and after being diagnosed with diabetes I tried dozens of kinds of litter to deal with the heavy urination. I ended up coming back to slide over and over again, it clumps nearly instantly, doesn't stick to the box or scoop and generally isn't dusty in comparison even to silica litter. Recently i moved cross country and switched to non clumping clay litter for most of the trip that way I could just toss the tray every day as we left the hotel to continue our trip of over 3000 miles. I decided to use some other brands after arriving to our new home and broke my scooper! Came straight to chewy ordered 5 of the big boxes of unscented slide and a new scoop and have had no problems since. Even with a heavy urine producing cat, I never have to scrape the box. I do not like the scented version, it's just too overpowering for me human mom, I can't imagine what it's like for little cat noses. It's hard to find the unscented so I buy it here and stock up. I'm here writing this review as I buy 5 more 28 pound boxes. I'm never using another litter again, I'm done trying others. Bless you arm & hammer this stuff is worth every penny!

Great Litter!

We have 4 cats and have struggled trying to find a litter that actually works. This litter is so easy to scoop out of the litter boxes and just slides right off

We have 4 cats and have struggled trying to find a litter that actually works. This litter is so easy to scoop out of the litter boxes and just slides right off. It doesn't get stuck to the box. It also smells pretty decent, even after a few days of use. It does track, but all litter tracks in my experience even if it says it doesn't. My one and only issue is that it is very difficult to open the box. That's not Chewy's fault of course. I just wish Arm and Hammer would redesign the box and make it easier to open. Other than that, I highly recommend this litter! Plus my cats love it.

This stuff was fantastic for years for me and my two cats plus 1 to 2 fosters at any one time. It did what it claimed, no sticking to the box. NOW IT STICKS TO THE BOX. Literally the one reason I bought it for no longer exists. I thought maybe my litterboxes were getting old and scratched up and the litter was adhering to all the tiny scratch marks when making a urine ball, so I bought 2 brand new ones, including a sifter style, and the same thing happened. Will try to grab some photos to post. I will probably keep buying this until I find something better, but VERY disappointed in whatever changes they made to the formula.

Weight of kitty litter

I purposely ordered the smaller weight pack so the I could lift them easier. I am 83 and can no longer lift heavy things. The litter was delivered in a “Twin pack”

I could not handle it. I ended by opening the whole package on my small porch so that I could separate and lift the individual boxes. I hope this makes sense. Karen

Terrible Odor Control

The smell of this at first pour is not awful, unlike it's purple multi-cat counterpart, which smells absolutely horrendous as soon as you open the box.... but a day later, there it is! It is not the ammonia urine or feces smell wafting through the house; it is the scent of the litter alone. After being disgusted by the purple box, others' recommended the green box because they, too, could not stand the smell of the purple box. The slide factor seems to work quite well, hence why we switched to this from Fresh Step. But I cannot take how terrible the smell is. I have a sifting litter box, which makes daily scooping pretty tolerable, but can't stomach this smell all the time. It sometimes clumps well, but other times urine is caked on to the bottom of the little pan like cement. I don't know why finding an effective litter is so difficult. Take the sliding power of this litter and combine it with the smell of Fresh Step and voila! Back to square one of trying to find a litter that is effective at clumping and sliding, but does not smell awful...
