This is more of a review about Chewy and how amazing they are. I ordered 2 Arcadia Reptile D3+ Reptile T5 12% UVB bulbs, which are AMAZING lights for lizards. One of the bulbs broke during transit, there was glass throughout the whole package and in the package of the second light. I think it was the carrier's fault because I could tell Chewy put a lot of thought into how the bulbs were secured. I chatted in, and the representative I worked with was amazing and very personable. She was very concerned and provided me with either a full replacement or a full refund with no issues. A perfect customer experience.

This is my second time ordering this bulb from Chewy and they’ve always come working and intact. This time they shipped it in only bubble wrap and it definitely could’ve been broken easily. FedEx did the shipping so good part on them but Chewy please do not send me a bulb in only bubble wrap again. It’s a recipe for disaster and paying almost $60 for a bulb I would expect decent packaging to protect product for everyone.

Arcadia makes great UVB lights

These always test great with my uvi solar meter. They don't have a great range from side to side FYI so you want it over the basking area and if you take the reflector

They don't have a great range from side to side FYI so you want it over the basking area and if you take the reflector off the UV drops to almost nothing so don't do that. I prefer these over zoo med but haven't tried the reptile systems one. I've yet to have one burn out and they always arrive intact.

Then the other one that I had put in my spare light fixture, blew after 1 day. So, I have a brand new baby Uro with no UVB. You gotta fix this Arcadia, Please! Needed a new bulb for my bearded dragon’s enclosure so I ordered the Arcadia 36in desert tube lamp. After waiting over a week it showed up shattered. While it was shipped in a hard tube like package it didn’t have hardly any bubble paper surrounding the actual bulb. There was nothing cushioning it from rattling around inside the tube like package. Upon opening it glass fell to the floor and all over myself and my counter. I’m really disappointed in Chewy I never had any negative experiences prior but they need to do better. And now the item is out of stock so I will have to source it elsewhere. Big thumbs down this time!!
