Don’t even bother. I bought these bulbs after being told again and again how much better they were than other brands. Now they heated my tank very well temperature was perfect no issues there. These things burn out so quickly and beyond randomly. My first one popped after having it less than 2 weeks. The second one died this morning just from me turning my lamp on. Thank god I keep extra bulbs on hand. I won’t be buying these again, don’t even waste your money.

Had decent heat, about 108 degrees at 15 inches. Unfortunately burned out after a little over a month. Around 10 hours a day of full power on a brand new 250w max

Had decent heat, about 108 degrees at 15 inches. Unfortunately burned out after a little over a month. Around 10 hours a day of full power on a brand new 250w max housing. All my other lighting is Arcadia so it’s unfortunate i probably will not be purchasing this one again. Should be at minimum 3-4 months on one of these bulbs.

Arcadia makes great supplements and lighting for my animals. Chewy has great customer service when one arrived broken it was replaced quickly by Patricia. I see mixed reviews tho. To insure max life out of the bulbs do not touch them with bare fingers the oil in our hands will create hot spots and burn them out prematurely. I strongly advise installing reptile bulbs with some form of rubber glove or oven mitt to prevent premature burnout. They should last quite a long time.
