Can these Algae Eater wafers cause a algae bloom in an aquarium? I ask because using these wafers, my 75 gal. tropical aquarium had a huge algae bloom after dropping these wafers in it. after a few days.

The Algae Eater Food is not known to create algae blooms but if any uneaten food remains at the bottom it could create algae.
