How Do I Apply Advantage II?

It didn't kill my cat but killed the fleas

I was terrified it would cause seizures in my old, frail, compromised girl who has CH and is prone to seizures but I had no choice the fleas were eating her alive

I was terrified it would cause seizures in my old, frail, compromised girl who has CH and is prone to seizures but I had no choice the fleas were eating her alive. So with much prayer I used it on Gina and the same for larger cats on the other two. It worked better than any other brands I have used in the past and no sude effects! I am very happy with the safety and performance of this product.

My cats ended up getting outside and getting fleas. They started scratching and biting all day long. I tried the flea collar and a few natural remedies that didn't work. I used this on both as well as clean the carpets and they stopped scratching and biting themselves by the next day! Neither had bad reactions. Used others in the past and they both were under the weather for few days with high temperatures. Worked so well and great price!

I think the fleas have gotten immune to the frontline I had been using for years, it never got rid of them completely just reduced their numbers. The day after I applied advantage I ran the flea comb through and got not a single flea.

I have four cats. Three of my cats are larger, and one cat that's a year old is much smaller. I had to buy two different weight classes of flea medicine due to that

I have four cats. Three of my cats are larger, and one cat that's a year old is much smaller. I had to buy two different weight classes of flea medicine due to that fact. I have been giving this flea medicine to my cats for a while now, and their fleas have gotten worse. I would never buy this product again nor would I refer this product to anyone. I also use the same name brand products but of a cat flea shampoo alongside the topical treatment. Once again let me repeat what I'm saying. Not only did I use the topical treatment I have been bathing them in the same name brand of flea shampoo, and their fleas have gotten worse on all four cats.

It's only been one day!

This is my first experience with fleas and I've been pretty lost at how to go about tackling the problem. I was told to get drops, and I read info and reviews about every flea drop for a small cat. My cat, Margaret, is 19yrs old and is 7lbs. I finally chose this brand. I applied it to the base of her skull on her skin last night. The odor was unpleasant, but she didn't seem to mind it. I have a white duvet cover and it helps for me to see if anything is coming off of her throughout the day. The day after her first dose, I found several fleas on my blanket. They are falling off of her! I'm surprised at how many there were. It ended up being around 6. They were still alive so I put them in a cup of water and Dawn to drown them. I 'm looking forward to this experience being over, but I am incredibly pleased with the results so far and hope this can help someone else.

I have four cats of varying ages and haveing individual needs for flea treatments. Chewie carries both Advantage for small and large cats. I always use Advantage to treat my cats at the first signs of flea infestation. Otis who is my 20 year old flame point siamese buddy. Is quite under weight and needs to be treated carefully when dealing with fleas. Advantage makes a flea treatment for cats under 10 lbs, this works well for him. Eclipso, a long and fluffy furred tortoiseshell is 15 years old. She poses a challenge when treating for fleas. Advantage for large cats works gently and effectively. I also have a pixibob named Kricket is a really big cat with sleek smooth fur. We use Advantage for large cats for her. It works every time. Then I have little Jinx, she has cerebellar hypoplasia and requires gentle treatment, which Advantage for small cats is just what she needs for killing fleas. Chewie carries both strengths in packe for 3 month treatments. At a fair competitive price.

My poor cat had experienced a skin reaction to the flea bites, and was so miserable. I had tried coconut oil baths that gave her temporary relief, but the fleas would come back. She had begun to lick bald spots on her body. I decided to purchase one time, to try it out. Within 8-10 hours after the first application, her demeanor changed significantly. She began to actually relax. Long story short, it's been 3 weeks since the first application, and her fur has begun to grow back, and she's so relaxed now. I have placed this treatment on auto ship. I feel guilty not having done it sooner.
