Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment I set down the bowl, he dove right in! His tail wagged, and he cleaned it up in no time. This food isn’t just tasty; it’s made with healthy ingredients for his nutrition. Those real lamb chunks mixed with veggies and fruit make it a hearty meal. And that bone broth base? It’s like a gourmet treat for him. I like that the ingredients are super fresh and need refrigeration. The raw stuff is frozen at its peak, so it’s like a homemade meal for my dog. Plus, the high moisture content keeps him hydrated - a win-win. Since it’s grain-free, it’s gentle on his stomach, and I use it as a topper to make his regular meals more exciting, or sometimes, as a special treat. My Dog Wouldn't Eat It
My dog took one bite and would never touch this food again. As it was extremely expensive food, I tried to doctor it up with some of her favorite treats, but she
My dog took one bite and would never touch this food again. As it was extremely expensive food, I tried to doctor it up with some of her favorite treats, but she still wouldnt eat it!! The food has large pieces is moist with a minty smelling gravy; seems fresh and I like what professionals have to say about the quality of this food; but if my dog wont eat it then that point is moot. She likes the dry food, but it gives her terrible acid reflux and gas (though no loose poops). This food was so expensive, but returning 1.5 cases was daunting, so I donated the remainder to a shelter. I think this is a quality food; it just doesn't agree with my sensitive husky's system.

Well, due to allergies, my dog cannot eat chicken. This type of coverup should not be allowed. This food is not cheap, yet they add chicken, which is a cheap protein. I gave it two stars because my dogs like it, but unfortunately I have to change their food again!

To my surprise, she quickly returned to her normal activity levels and was full of energy again. Never thought that the food could make such a difference. Adding this and some warm water to his food was how I was able to get nourishment into him this fall. Nice to have him sniff it and stay to eat rather than walk away! I will keep some on hand for the spring!

We are constantly on the look out for food for our dogs that is good and good for them. We decided to give the ACANA Premium Chunks Lamb Recipe in Bone Broth Grain-Free Wet Dog Food a try. We liked the ingredients that were in the food and the fact that it's grain free. The bone broth is another thing that made us take notice. But none of that matters if the dogs hate the way the food tastes and don't eat it. They loved that way it tastes and gobbled it right up. We are very satisfied with this dog food and will buy it again.

This is the first time I’ve fed my dogs wet food made from bone broth. I have to say I am highly pleased with the high quality and healthy ingredients and I feel comfortable giving this to my dogs by itself or mixed with hard dog food. Lamb and salmon are so good for my dogs and they do not hesitate to eat it up once I put it in their dish. I would highly recommend to any of those who want to feed your beloved pets a more healthy and balanced meal.
