You can either store them in the cup they come in or you can get a Kritter holder. Then you can feed them carrots, roach chow and water crystals. Refeed them as needed every week.

Can these be shipped and survive in subfreezing temperatures or any guarantees they will arrive alive?

Most of the insects do well in colder temperatures. We include packing peanuts in the shipment so the insects keep themselves warm. The insects will some times go into a hibernation if they get too cold. Unpack the insects and have them sit at room temperature to warm back up.

Perfect!!

They arrived in a well secured container. I don't thinl I even had one dead one out of 1000. I am building a dubia coloney & they are absolutely some of the finest

They arrived in a well secured container. I don't thinl I even had one dead one out of 1000. I am building a dubia coloney & they are absolutely some of the finest dubias I have been feeding my 2 beardies. I mean I can't say enough about the quality. They are growing which is good because I have to different size dragons. Whenever I aordered from other sources they stunk & tons of shedding so lots of dead. But the smell from other distributors once they arrived & I opened the container was that of death, sweet & rotten (like decomposition). Gross! These came in the standard container but the lids had a piece of fiber attached. Don't know why but I loved it!! No loose clean up larve or pieces of dead shells. Thank you so much for an amazing product!!!! My dragons are absolutely gluttons for these. And bonus, I haven't had to do the sort & divide from too much feces & shedding from shipping container. Normally, I spend at least 45 minutes to an hour going through the shipping container digging for live roaches through all all the dead & poo before transferring into colony bin. ALso, these dubias have wonderful appetites. They look so healthy & plump. No, I am not going to start eating them. But if I were & roach eater these would be on the menu!!!! Thank you, thank you!

These showed up quick and packaged well. They were all alive and my Blue (bearded dragon) couldn't be happier munching on these guys. He's a younger dragon, we call it his tween phase, so he can eat the small but has moved to the medium with ease. He's ready to eat these guys as soon as he sees the container. I love that they don't smell like crickets or mealworms and also don't hop (more than one cricket has escaped). He likes chasing these around the terrarium.

ALL 200 ARRIVED DEAD!

My order of 200 roaches was shipped in a box with no ventilation, and they ALL arrived dead. Customer Service did refund my order, but I hope this was an unfortunate

My order of 200 roaches was shipped in a box with no ventilation, and they ALL arrived dead. Customer Service did refund my order, but I hope this was an unfortunate accident and not common practice! Poor roaches, and poor Bearded Dragon! I’m going to have to find some local roaches after his breakfast tomorrow, as I am completely out now!

Greetings, While I love the convenience of getting my entire pet order from chewy, I will say that there consistently has not been 50 roaches in my orders. Considering the cost of these, I would hope the supplier would be more generous, or at the very least, provide the 50 that I pay for. I will be ordering these once more through chewy, but will have to switch to a different company if the order is lacking again. Thank you for your time, Chewy! You guys rock and have been my go-to for years for all my animal needs.

Dead roaches

The first time it happened half of them were dead and it wasn't a matter of them being left out they were handed off and this time I'm sitting with 200 dead roaches

I ordered the smallest. They were a tad smaller than expected, which is fine because it was so much less to order 100 at once and I assume they will grow before my gecko will eat them all. They arrived thirsty, but safely. I'm keeping them in a cricket cage with an upside down egg carton, a calcium diet for roaches and some quencher made for crickets too. The pets love them and they are the healthiest option. With my elderly lizard, we have to hold the dubias to feed them due to poor vision.

Everything that I ordered came quickly and with the Hornworms and Dubia Roaches. They was way more in there than would was described . Hornworms was supposed to be 25 but got 35. I didn’t try to count 100 roaches, but it looked right and every single one was alive when I opened the package.
