About Us

The primary goal of Lucky Black Cats of Mew York is to foster and find homes for black cats who are statistically the least likely to be adopted and most likely to be euthanized. As part of this goal we will: Provide TNR (trap, neuter, return} on free roaming cats as a community service. Provide temporary foster homes for friendly adoptable abandoned cats found while engaged in TNR. Educate public in attempt to dispel myth that black cats are unlucky. Although focusing on black cats is our main goal, we help any cat in need. Lucky Black Cats of Mew York. We don't discriminate.
