About Us
Free at Last Canine Protection Foundation began with a single rescue of a female Bullmastiff later named Freedom, who was found abandoned after enduring severe abuse and exploitation for breeding. Her story revealed a hidden reality of suffering that often goes unseen and became the driving force behind our mission. We are dedicated to preventing animal cruelty with rescue, rehabilitation, and the protection of dogs subjected to abuse, neglect, and inhumane breeding practices. Our work focuses on intervening in critical situations, providing compassionate care, and supporting each dog's physical and emotional recovery. Through direct rescue efforts, we provide intake, medical treatment, rehabilitation and placement into safe permanent homes. Beyond rescue, we are committed to prevention through education, public awareness, and focused on responsible ownership. Inspired by Freedom's journey, we strive to create lasting change by protecting vulnerable dogs, reduce suffering.
