About Us
Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping southern shelters increase live release. We network animals at risk of euthanasia, coordinate life saving transports and oversee adoptions of hundreds of animals each year. We have team members in the Greater Kansas City area, Houston, TX and NW Indiana. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to Kanas City and NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of the Greater Kansas City area and NW Indiana and partner with 15 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.Find Us
